The Lodders Charitable Foundation

Established in 2016 to support regional charities that make a real difference to their communities.

The Lodders Charitable Foundation (LCF) supports regional charities where a real difference can be made; something that reflects Lodders’ longstanding commitment to the community.

The trustees of the LCF are all members of the Lodders family: David Lodder, Alistair Howard, Angela Howard, Emily Brampton, Katie Mann, Mark Miller, Baldish Khatkar and Rhiannon Edwards.

The LCF was formed under the expert guidance of Lodders’ charity law expert Mark Lewis and, since it was created in 2016, has donated an incredible £100,000 to local independent charities.

The LCF regular fundraising events currently include its annual Charity Dog Walk, and an Autumn drinks reception, most recently held at Castle Fine Art in Stratford upon Avon

Supporting charities in Lodders’ local communities

Home-Start and The Shakespeare Hospice are the named beneficiaries of current fundraising.  The foundation also fundraises for additional charities through specific events.

Home-Start South Warwickshire

Home-Start South Warwickshire is a local community network of trained volunteers and expert support helping families with young children through their most challenging times. They help give children the best possible start in life by supporting parents as they grow in confidence, strengthen their relationships with their children and widen their links with the local community.

The Shakespeare Hospice

The Shakespeare Hospice has been caring for patients, their carers and loved ones across South Warwickshire and the surrounding areas, for 25 years.  Their Hospice in Shottery is the “hub” for their day services providing a friendly, caring environment and support for those affected by life-limiting illness to access a wide range of services and therapies.   Other services provided include hospice at home, children and family support service, adult counselling and transitional care.
