The Midlands Props Awards, organised by Variety, the Children’s Charity, shine a spotlight on the individuals and business driving excellence in the property industry in the Midlands. Funds raised by the event will go towards supporting disabled and disadvantaged children and young people across the region, helping to create brighter futures.
The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 10 April 2025 at the prestigious Grand Hotel in Birmingham, promising an unforgettable evening of recognition and celebration. This year, more than 25 Midlands-based organisations have been shortlisted across eight competitive categories, with Lodders joining Deloitte Legal and Gowling WLG on the shortlist for Law Firm of the Year.

When it completes in 2026, the custom-built scheme will house several BBC editorial teams, including The Archers, BBC Asian Network, BBC Newsbeat, BBC Radio WM and Midlands Today.

Lodders’ Real Estate team advised Midlands housebuilder Keon Homes on the legal and planning aspects of its Holyhead Road project. The 87-unit development is set to become a flagship site for Keon Homes and its development partner, Midland Heart, offering a range of housing options including one-bedroom apartments and two, three, and four-bedroom units and a mix of rented and share ownership options.
