I am a solicitor in the Agricultural Law team, specialising in transactional agricultural property matters.
My role involves dealing with land sales and purchases, preparing farm business tenancies, preparing deeds of easement, and reviewing and submitting applications for first registration and adverse possession.
The aspect of my role that I most enjoy is the variety. It is rewarding to know that each day is likely to be different from the last. I particularly like assisting clients with property purchases and celebrating when we have completed them.
Before cross-qualifying as a solicitor, I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive via CILEx.
I used to be a figure skater and completed level nine (out of ten) of the National Ice Skating Association tests. This enabled me to compete across England, as both a solo skater and as part of the synchronised team.
In my spare time, I have also run four half-marathons and recently climbed Mount Snowdon to raise money for Marie Curie.
When I was younger, I wanted to be a police officer (according to my Mum!).
I am based across our Stratford and Cheltenham offices
